Yeah still not good ... the feet ones are Ok ... i got some betadine ointment to treat that thinking it will keep it moist a bit longer will put it on lightly twice a day .... for a couple days ...
The canary on the other hand i think hes buggered ,.... hes still like how i would describe ticking .... no control over his legs or movements .... i know I didn't hit his head or anything i dont know if he has a chance of recovering or anything just feeling very crushed at the moment ...

Be grateful in knowing you are doing all you can. Try not to let this ruin your experience with birds just try to learn from it and book it down to experience I think all on here have had similar happen at some point.

Yeah thanks for that and sorry for seeming a little uppity but man I suffer with epilisey myself and watching a bird go through a similar thing and being unable to help it isn't much fun ... it fell off its perch twice when i ut it in and wasn't fully watching at the time and thats why i clipped its nails thinking maybe with the long nails it just lost it's footing kinda of thing ... But I've had a very bad run lol all 3 times ive bought birds Ive had issues ... No more sales or pet shops for me .... I will deal with people in person from now on IF I get any more birds I'm guessing i'll need a Male Gloster Canary so if you know of anyone that has them lol .... But yeah just a very bad day I dont quite understand how people can have these guys and not notice or care enough to try and correct it maybe thats my problem ... anyways thanks for putting up with me and TRYING to help!

Hi igotfrogs,i just had a close look at those gouldians feet,i'm no vet but it looks more like a fungal infection to me.The betadien will help by drying it out,but i dont think it will kill the spores. Try something used for human foot fungal cmplaints. Hope this helps Craig
