Ive been boiling the eggs for the parrots , they love them when feeding young . My PC Lorikeets eat them any time .

Jusdeb, you are "Big Mama," to your babies, and I really believe there is not much you don't know, in way of taking care of babies and feeding them. I am certain the babies you are raising now are getting that TLC, and will be beautiful!

They say king quail are from Australia but im yet to meet anyone who has seen them in the wild , anyone on the forum seen them in the wild ?

Not for a while, but we get Kings, Brown, Painted, & on 2 occasions in 22years Red-Backed, Painteds I saw about 6 weeks ago while getting some termites.

As once a quail shooter,i have seen Kings,little button quail, stubble,painted,brown in Victoria. Craig

They're on the Australian list, and have certainly been seen on the mainland... Not in places close to people either, so little chance of them being ferals.

They are a hard bird to see and I think they are reasonably hard to flush. My dad is a serious twitcher and has only seen them once at bushells lagoon in Sydney.
