During the non breeding period I would use about 3/4 of a plastic bucket full of soaked seed a week.Soak it Monday and freeze it the same day.
In the breeding season I will use between 2 to 3 buckets full a week. It is no problem and no more seed is eaten as the birds prefer the soaked seed and eat it before the dry seed.hence those trays a filled less often.

Sorry about that Crocs,

OK lets just do it by 10 times and freeze what you cant use for the first week, or better still freeze it in weekly portions, say 1kg at a time. Sheesh, just said how I do it. My system works at near a kilo a week because I prefer to do it that way, not doing in bulk and avoiding the freezing thing.
