unbelievable had 3 pairs doing nothing a bit of shuffling around 1 pair got put a friends aviary 2 weeks ago and already on eggs all 3 pairs are know nesting lets see what we end up with but fingers crossed, yellow siskins have fledged 3 and have 2 more in nest fully feathered so quite happy
thanx for advice hope use all had a great christmas happy new year and wish use all plenty of babie for the new year

have just fledged my first 2 for the season quite happy, have 2 pairs due to hatch very shortly but cant do any nest inspection as they both nested in hard to see spots, how is everyone else doing?

My hen has been building a nest for the last week or so, hopefully she will get her act together soon.
If so it will be her 3rd nest for the season. Count so far, 2 fully fledged from 1st nest, the only
young to hatch from 2nd nest died on a hot day in Nov when it jumped from the nest to escape
the heat and got it's leg tangled in some nest material. So we just wait and see.
