Love my fishing to. Don't get the variety you get over there.
That would have been good fun catching all those fish. Hungry just looking at those photo's.
I have 3.8 tinny I take out (not far) in the gulf here in S.A.
Usually get a feed.
Nice photos though.

Thanks Will, We also throw out a few crab pots out in the summer and caught some nice big males. You don't get many in the winter.

nah you dont think they all go to the deeper water for the winter or to the warmer waters

they go deep during winter & then come back to warmer shallow waters for summer, breeding season for them I guess

nice haul Steven.a few feeds there.

I to am a diver from way back,still have my gear,but have not been out for a few years.
Portland is the hot spot for fishing in Victoria.Blue fin tuna upto 126kgs being caught,also albacore.need a good boat though of the continental shelf.

albacore the best eating fish in the ocean. given a chance it's what I will eat before crays, prawns and the like

a friend is in port lincoln this week and he is bringing me back a couple of bluefin.
cant wait for it. belly meat will be eaten raw with some wasabi the rest will be on the bbq. already bought myself extra bundy and told the other half that she cant invite anyone around cos I wont be sharing any :lol:
