New Guinea Palm Grass

I'm not quite sure what real pit-pit grass is but on the Marcus Pollard article cited he refers to it a s Settaria species. These are common seed millets like S. italica or fox-tail millet and that is certainly an excellent feed source.

Thanks Rusty.Nice looking grass that one.Does anyone have the one in the photo that Rusty put up that they would sell a few clumps off.And also the African feather grass.

Finally someone has put up a pic of the real pit pit grass,thanks Rusty.Gomer i have a mate in Sydney who is a landscaper,he is forever pulling this grass out of his spare plant pots,if you want some i will get some for you but in saying that,it's not a big seeder and seeds that are dropped grow and spread very quickly.As i told you,it looks like annorexcic?NGPG.
