I grew up in one of those Arthur. Budgies for Mum and Parrotts for Dad. We all knew when the breeding season was, mum and dad spent most of their time in the back yard then. We also learnt not to pull up weeds, they were bird food. And helping to wire an avairy was a regular chore.
