The correct guess goes to finch bird 2015 .
Yes a Green singer took out Grand Champion.Won by a FSA and Wollongong Finch club member.
I'm sure Sam will post some photos soon.

Sydney Royal 2016 was fantastic. Congratulations to all our winners and more importantly to all involved in the running of the show.
Grand Champion and Champion Foriegn - Peter McGibbon with a Green Singer.
Reserve Grand Champion and Champion Australian - Gerry Portelli with a Gouldian.
Reserve Champion Foreign - Damian Kerr with a Saint Helena.
Reserve Champion Australian - Peter McGibbon with a Diamond.

We soon wiped the smile off Peter's face. Harassed him to shout drinks after we packed up. He eventually agreed!
