OK, i've seen the first pair 'mate', and in the process of remodelling the bought nest. .... She's eating alot cuttlefish bone. How long can i expect til she starts laying the clutch?

Should happen pretty soon if you caught them mating.
My cheeky pair that won't take no for an answer, have again laid under the tile and hatched a single chick. :o

This first pair seem really comfortable with me, at least with the bars of the cage in between. I've seen them mating at least twice a day for the past few days (5 times on friday )

Tho she's stopped eating cuttlefish as madly as she was. And they appear to be taking turns in the nest, so i'm assuming they're sitting on whatever eggs she has laid.

So from what i've read online, i should probably expect a chick or 2 in the next two weeks. yay! (first time parents tho. pretty sure they're ok tho)
