Don't know any finch where the hen has a red cheek off the top of my head. Can you post a pic or describe the birds colour etc? Only things I can think of are Cordon and Zeb that have red cheek but in both cases it is the cock who has the red cheek.

well its like a subspecies or colour variation of the zebra finch. its called the red faced zebra finch, the females and males both have orange cheeks, but females are duller and dont have markings

Sounds like a red mutation that's getting about now. Depends if you want to chase this color mutation or not, it will breed with standard Zeb's.

ok right, well um i dont care, but will they sell properly? or wont people care. plus what do i do about that boy that my females are fighting over, do i put it back with the parents or leave them until i get another one(which might be a week)

Not sure about your cage availability. I would not put a male back with parents,pick a hen to leave with him and put remaining hens back with parents.If you have the space.As far as sale as young most people wont care if you are honest and tell them young are possible split to red Zebs.

i only have the parents for one of the birds. so what happens now, should i seperate on the females, on its own for a while, but next to the cage until i get a partner, the cage is about 40hx60wx40d. The parents are in an avairy should i just chuck them all in there(its just an idea), i need anything to stop them from killing each other.

I find the best way to stop birds fighting is to remove all the birds, re arrange the cage so the inside looks different then put them all back in. it's quick, efficient, and since the area looks different, the birds consider themselves somewhere else. then, because there is no dominant bird yet, they won't fight.
