Purples, Littles & Varieds top my list, but are a little harder to get good consistant results from, Scalies will rear young on nothing but dry food, & if your rearing, & can be breed year round, even when the diet is only basic, but the others are seasonal, no matter how varied the diet.

Actually they aren't all that bad unless their left alone.Its the opposite end to the beak to watch out for if you keep them inside.you can buy a pellet that binds them up,personally I won't use them.

If you use a good Dry food, it's not as bad as a lesser quality one, or fed large amounts of wet food & nectar, but I agree Buzz, would not touch the pellets
