Haven't been able to buy any other finches since I lost em all to predators a while back, there is just nothing around up this way ! The local pet shop keeps saying next week, next week, but has nothin yet. Wish I lived closer to some of you guys.

On a property about 45km east of Springsure, 100km south east of Emerald in Central QLD, or about 4 hours west of Rockhampton if thats any easier. Basically in the boonies. I normally buy birds in Toowoomba, but the missus was down there a week ago and came back with 2 quarians and a budgie, no finches there either. The 2 shops in Emerald keep sayin next week. We go in every 2 weeks shopping, so hopefully I will get a surprise next fortnight, lol.
