well the zebras are in the smaller aviary with the quails and the green parrots are in there own cage

when i put my zebras in they went to the floor and started eating and my male quail put his wings down and started to bolt around the little aviary whats that a sign of?

As long as he didn't charge at the Zebs, I would not worry. Just getting a little excited at the sight of other birds.

Shanny, if you are wanting a mixed aviary you would best forget the grassies, go for neophema's, Bourkes, scarlets, elegants, are just 3 that come to mind that you don't need a licsence for, in nsw that is.

at first i wanted a mixed aviary but now i want to breed them but i want to get them ready and when i saw them i had to get them because i loved there colors and what do they nest in

Being Aussie natives, they're likely to be there later. It's always best to do research and find out about a species before you consider purchase.
I remember the first time I saw blue caps, almost 7 years ago. I knew then I MUST have them. And I will, just not yet :D

My other half has wanted them for years , just waiting till there is an empty aviary for them to occupy by themselves and we will get a pair ...
