The only parrot finches in the aviary are the 2 lutinos. I do have others but I have them in separate aviaries.

Is it possible that what you think are 2 lutinoes are actually a lutino and a yellow bird of another mutation such as a paryellow or reverse pied bird.
I ask this because I knew a scalet-chested parakeet breeder in Adelaide many years ago who mated 2 blue scarlets together and got normals. I thought the same and suggested that his 2 blues were 2 different mutations.It was the only logical explanation yet it seemed really weird at the time to even suggest that!
Anyway, he DID have 2 mutations - alleles that, when combined produced his white-fronted blue scarlets.
Sometimes the most logical answer is the most surprising !!!!

FB is correct...Lutino is yellow, Albino is white, Rubino is red...and so it goes depending on feather colouring...

Yes the ino means loss of melanin and the prefix is from the Latin for the colour.
