Shape/posture seems like that of a hen bird - the lack of the long tail feathers also doesn't suggest any different (although some cocks also lack these)

That bird is a ""hen" .
The sitting posture is a definite giveaway but other factors to take into consideration are ;
if it was a cock it would either have a white chest being yellow or a lime green back( single factor yellow p/b cock).The other option is it is a double factor yellow p/b cock but in that case the purple etc would be a lot more intense & the head would be a smoky grey colour.
It is a black headed yellow hen.
