MUST BE SANITISED!!!!
white is best, sanitised chicken/duck feathers (white) are available from most pet shops.
the worst mistake you can make here is to put in any old feather you find lying around. These could be home to lice, mites, other parasites etc.

i hope i get better success because there are 2 pairs in my little aviary and the 2 other pairs in separate cages
