Its a amazing what can be made in just a week. Looks great. Just a thought. Looking at the door entrance. Are you adding a safety door, remembering finches will fly straight past you when enter and exit the aviary. A must have IMO. Have you located what finches are available local in your area. It would be interesting to read what types of finches are available and at what price. Javas are good strong robust bird, perfect for a tropical climate. I would keep javas by self them due to size and possible aggression/intimidation to smaller birds. Try and keep the aviary as dry as possible, tropics = rain = possible infection/bacteria outbreaks in wet aviary. Look forward in seeing the finished product.

Have to agree with Wagga. To prevent heartbreak put a safety door/enclosure on your avairy.
