I dont think its just a matter of size , Ive seen Rosellas in smaller cages (though not ideal ) . I think its a case of these birds are not feeling safe or secure .

I gotta tell you as a bird lover and a softie for parrots that the behaviour you described with these birds really has me concerned .

Can you put up a photo so we can suggest ways make them feel safe and happy?

There are things that can be done to make them feel better .

could a newzealand rabbit and a ginnie pig make them feel unsecure

I say HELL YEAH ...try taking them out and if Im wrong you can put them back .

well its mums idea to put the rabbit and guniea pig in there in the first place
