Yeah conures keep dropping in price although I expected to see some real cheap ones at Orange and I think the cheapest was $40 unsexed. Considering privately you pay about $70 sexed it's not that cheap.
I will probably get blasted for this but not many of the australian parrots, small to medium, really do it for me. There is something about exotics (barring asiatics) that I find much more appealing. If you do offload them, down the track you might want to have another go. Start with a young pair and work them your way.
