Not every bird can be infected and some get a mite build up quicker than others.
It sounds like Air Sac Mite and should be treated rapidly .
They were put in a new aviary which would have had clean perches so it has come from an infected bird or dirty holding cage.
The Gouldians and African Fires seem to have the problem often, are yours showing any gasping or wipeing their beaks frequently on the perch
I have some Cordons here from the same group and non are showing any signs of Air Sac infestation.
I have just had a quick look to confirm this.

As this is also a wormer, I would have thought that once a month was too often. Also once a month might be a bit too long between doses to break the cycle?

If you have followed the advice on this forum about quarantine you should not have air-sac mite, your birds may just be ill, maybe you could try some probiotic or spark, be careful worming sick birds, if you have air sac mite you can treat other ways.

Stockfeeds doesn't stock Moxidectin but I am looking to get some from someone I know who usually has some.

I have tried to follow the basics of quarantine as best I can, and will continue to. I had been dreading this occurence.
However, you would think they would be gasping if they had to fly a lot. I tested it this morning - no relation at all. They only wheeze (not gasp) when they are sitting still. no other signs of discomfort.
