Pete
I have to cancel out,I have been hanging on until the last moment as I was not sure if my hospital visit was going to be cancelled or not.
I crushed the end of my index finger last weekend and they had to wait for the swelling to abate before they had any chance of fixing it in hospital.
I am very sorry as I had already booked and paid for my airline ticket,as I have a 12 month travel insurance plan and it is an injury they refund all the money back.Arthur was going to assist me getting around so I will contact him.You guys have a great get together, plenty of bird talk and I am sure it will be good.
Once again I am sorry and I feel I have let you down. If I hadn't got you to change the date I would have been in Perth and not wrecking my finger.
keep well David H

Yes thanks to Poitta and his other half for hosting the BBQ, it was great to put faces to names at last to some of the still faceless WA members! Must make it into a regular event. It was also great to be able to chat to not just one or two but a whole bunch of people who share the same interest. And loved the aviaries! HOpe you got our SMS about getting there late in the end...
