I paired it up with a cock bird, they did their thing and mated as normal.Within an hour "it" had killed the cock bird and did the same thing with the next cock bird.Even though it acted like a hen,i placed a hen with it.It flew to the floor and picked up an Emu feather and bounced around and mated with the hen as if it was a cock bird so i left them together.willy wrote:You would think it was a hen, but it must be an unusually coloured cock bird.
The next day the hen was dead on the floor badly pecked,i opened the aviary door to retrieve the dead hen and and "it" flew at my face,i'm sure it had the devil in it.
Anyhow,i caught it up and it continued biting my hand so i introduced it to the concrete and to this day i still can't decide whether it was a cock or hen, this happened around 10 years ago and nearly confirmed to me that crimsons were well on the bottom of the list to keep, funny that as all i breed now is crimsons.
