Hi Everyone,
I'm just about to start sending PM's to everyone, but wanted to let you all know that the overall freight costs have gone up by $400 on last year. Main reason is I needed to find a new freight company as the one used last year no longer does Brisbane to Melbourne. As I have found out today the cost to transport frozen freight fom Brisbane to Melbourne is bloody expensive.
So the cost per container will be $20 ($0.50 increase on last year).
Any issues contact me on the details in the PM i am about to send you.

Hi All,
Everyone who ordered through the AFF should now have a PM confirming their order and all of my details. If you don't have your PM let me know because it means I may have stuffed up and not taken your order correctly (like I did for Branchez and Brooksy....sorry guys, but I will endevour to make sure you get the amount of seed you ordered).
Thanks once again to all those who ordered especially those who placed large orders meaning that the freight costs are kept as low as possible for everyone else. I was thinking of running a competition for the member who ordered the most amount each year just as a side joke.....and the winner for 2013 is MCA01 with a wopping 11 esky's....well done Adrian...confirming your status as the Gouldian Farmer
Mate with that amount of seed I'm sure you are feeding the birds and the family with it.

HI Everyone,
I have received payment from about half the people involved....so thanks to everyone who has paid or contacted me informing me that I will received their payment soon.
Spoke to Wendy today and they hope to have our seed harvested by Tuesday of next week (26/3)...pending this occuring the freight company is booked in to pick up the seed on Tuesday the 2/4/13 with it arriving in Melbourne on Friday the 5/4/13. It will be delivered to my place in Thornbury on the same day. I will push them to deliver it as soon as it is loaded into their local delivery vans .....so hoping to have it at my place by AM on the 5/4/13
Due to circumstances out of our control the order for 1 esky has been cancelled, so if you still want and esky of green WFM please let me know.
I will also have a few bags of Phalaris seed available on the day....no need to pay in advance if you want this, you can pay upon pick up. If you do want any please let me know how much so I can have it bagged for you ready for when you come to collect your seed....the cost is $8/kg.
It seems the number of companies providing freight services between Brisbane and Melbourne has significantly changed over the past 12 months. Last year I had 5-6 companies to choose from...this year there are only 2 who will deal with small consignments. Most were only interested in consignments of 10+ pallets. This is the reason why the cost has increased a little from last year. I hope things don't deteriorate further in 2014.
