Jestar do not have pressurised cargo holds. Any airport serviced by Jetstar instead of Qantas cannot take animals. It all comes down to who services from where. Virgin only carry cats and dogs. They use Toll Air Express for everything else including aquarium fish and aviary birds. Have never used them but certainly worth following up for those near Coolangatta which Toll list as a destination on their website

Tintola the actual costs of a licsence vary, if thats what you want the basic is $10 and $ 20 a year for the advanced which cover the softbills etc....I think tiaris is right on the price of a import / export permit , but it can take up to a week, but mostly 2 days I have been told.....pete

Here you go look for your self mate...there is also another one thats $30 for dec birds, the ones that can become feral pest whick i think is a joke.....pete

That's the piece of paper that comes in the mail. Sometimes before it's due even. And you just update it and post off with a cheque. $30/year and I can have anything I can afford as long as it's behind safety doors. Best state in the country.
