They are starting to peck at some seed which is good, and forgot to mention the hen is on her second clutch of eggs

Some fledgling photos.
The male baby has left the nest, but the female baby has wimped out. It's been three days now since no. 1 fledged.... I guess she'll jump when she's ready
This one was before they left the nest - I read an article about fledgling dimorphism, the males being reddish and the females grey in colour. My findings support that so far, will have to see how they colour up. Male right, female left:

I don't see difference of sexes in chicks at that age in my Cinnamons,Capes,Diamond and Zebra Doves.The Senegals are the only 1s like you say are the ones that have differences in chicks the young I see out of my dove collection

I meant Senegals, sorry,
Do you find it to be reliable? It would be nice not to have to wait until they colour to move them on, they're a bit big to have four or more flying around in there.

I can clearly see a difference of sexes in your Two Senegal Chicks male fledged female in nest.I have two chicks just fledged as well and can see difference in sexes too.There a male and a female too.
