Silver is a combination of 2 primary mutations, blue & yellow.

You did say green to green FB.
Sorry, thats what you get for being literal. SF euro yellow is visually green. My point was that the birds producing these chicks can be visually green while carrying other genes.

Hi werty I don't understand you got from two green bird blue and silver I am trying to get my head around that,to what I believe you have is a single factor to split blue bird to a split blue hen and that is the only way you got the off spring sibling a blue and silver,I need to see the picture first to believe it,or do you have what they call Australian yellow blue which they are carry both gene in them which are your green bird which are give you blue bird and white bird too, also some the people on this have come back with there oponio about your,so I hope this will help to understand or will put up your picture of parent and off spring sibling to what they look like mate.

Cheer Mr Tino

Now you could see how you got your silver bird and also your blue bird as long as you say they 100% split blue now you get the full picture of it.

I said gouldians were better breeders than zebs

The yanks don't like that

Apparently gouldians take 12 months to breed when introduced into a new aviary

Mine only took 2 weeks, the yanks said impossible
