very nice BONE, well done
Frustrated, There has been more than 20 born over the season that have been lost within the first 10 days of hatching, one pair hatched 2 which went to the perch ,then I lost one of them. They get everything in their diet. 2 young just hatched yesterday, 1 egg is left in the nest, the hen is still sitting, both chicks are dead. It seems like the cocks aren't feeding the hens on the nest, so the hen can`t feed the newly hatchlings but she keeps sitting so the young die of hunger. This could be caused by colony breeding as the cocks are always chasing each other, so next season will be one pair to an aviary.alvin wrote: 02 Sep 2017, 14:37 Looking forward to a better breeding season this year, one nest built so far.
