Painteds and littles here sometimes, often close together.

Saw a kid with a spotted button quail (http://orientalbirdimages.org/search.ph ... ly_ID=&p=1) on a string while I was shopping in Los Banos today. I could have got it for P100 (<$2.50) if I'd wanted it but if it was a King Quail I might have been tempted! I know Orix would have bought it an released it but I'm lothe to create a demand that may not be there but it's damned if you do and damned if you don't. Nice birds though - pity I'm not set up for them.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
