Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me where I can order scatt, ivermectin or moxidectin from?? I have done some research on the web and it looks like I need to order online.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to which website to order from and which product they would reccommend to be the most effective? Scatt sounds like it does the job but it is hard to find.
Thanks
Chez

Moxidectin = Australian Pigeon
There is a link on here somewhere will have a look for it for you.
I got my first bottle of moxi from my local bird shop.

Thanks for the info guys, much apprecited !!
Its hard when you havent treated your bird before for Air sac mites as you are not sure what product to use and my local pet store has hardly anything in there for birds.
I will order Moxidectin plus, and I hope that this will help him. How long does it take for the air sac mites to go away when the bird is being treated?
Cheers
Chezk

While reading about air sac mites I read that birds will wipe their beaks "excessively" on the perch to get rid of the mites.
What is classed as excessively? Some of my birds wipe their beaks about 8 or 10 times, yes, Ive been out and counted!

These birds have been treated with moxidectin on a regular basis since Ive had them. Last treatment 31 January

It should read continually with small breaks. If not sure catch and listen for the tell tale click. I'm pretty much deaf and I can hear when they have it.

They dont have that click sound, that was the first thing I checked, its probably just me worrying as it is something they have always done after eating or drinking.

They got sprouted seed mixed with MF soft food, egg and biscuit mix, peas, carrots, cauliflower and boiled egg yesterday, thats what got me thinking about it again.
