Bensonsan you hit the nail on the head . I have an empty aviary here at the moment which I would dearly love to have some fun with the Redbrows but the thought of dealing with those twits again gives me a bad taste in my mouth .
Maybe one day ...

Back in the late seventies or early eighties, not sure,can't remember as my hard drive is full these days
there was a concern with diamond doves but because I swapped some for seed with Nunawadind Bird Supply I had a visit from then, the Fisheries & Wildlife, this guy turns up at the front door one night in the middle of winter, flashlight in hand and wants to go through my aviaries, at that time I had plumheads and slatyhead parrots as well as finches, he was very quickly told he could pitch his tent on the veranda and check out the birds in the morning as I had nothing to hide, with that he comes out and says I've just come off the rivers with the fish, my comment was maybe you should go back to the rivers, with that he up and left, go figure
