to worm or not to worm this is the question, I personally dont do it enough my self,but all new birds get a dose of ivermectin , been told it kills worms as well if its good for the gouldians its good for everyone....always learn from your mistakes as I have mad alot to...pete

If this is the problem slick at least now you know and is at least treatable, definitely would treat all birds once treatment has been done would di them again in Oct before summer heat and hopefully this will at least get rid off most of your worm problem. Never heard of looking for worms that way may have to try.

Sorry for your loss Slick. Always quarantine. Always treat for worms & external parasites in quarantine- a motto I've developed from bad experiences.
Did you take any photos of the worms in the water? Can you post them? It might help to identify them.

No I didn't take photo I was more in shock & hurry to give them worming. It really shocked they look like really small skinny maggots really skinny different sizes light brown...
