It seems my post with all the photos, along with my thread detailing my visit to E Orix both got lost in the move to the new server.
I don't exactly remember all I wrote, but the key points were that i got 20 species for the trip including 3 lifers, bringing my year total to 123.
Thanks to E Orix for introducing me to Fred, who was an excellent local guide, and for suggesting I stop in at the old water treatment plant at Corowa on my way home, where I picked up 2 species, including one of the lifers.

As always great photos

Babblers are my all time favourite birds, having banded lots of them I have a special affection for white brows.

Nice pics. I think a few of us had things vanish into the eather during the change over. But my stuff was not as pretty as yours.

Got back from Alice Springs earlier today. Added 48 species to the Big Year list, 38 of which were lifers for me. LOTS of photo's to sort through so the full update may be a little while. My sincerest gratitude goes to desertbirds for being a gracious host and almost indefatigable guide. I could not have done it without your help. Thanks mate.
