That's great mate !!
So it's ok to add the bran mix every few days if needed. I was told once that the flies had to lay everyday or they die. So is every 3 or 4 days ok?

They will lay eggs regardless of whether there is a medium or not,usually around the water wick which needs cleaning more often.As i said,work it out with how many maggots are left in the fridge before you do your next batch. Craig
