I through all my waste seed into a garden and they have grown and have sprouted seed heads which i feed to them as well.

Wish I could see into my gould nests that easy. All mine tend to build theirs with a complete hood over the top. Think I might restrict the amount of nesting material in future.

have never known gouldians to eat much livefood if any. the only times my gouldians will touch livefood is the very rare occasion that I manage to get some termites. green seed though is a different matter, the gouldians are always the first to find & start eating it and the last to leave
