Hi all, new to the forum.
Certainly has been a very cold (and wet and windy) winter in Central Vic, -1 or -2.
Have lost three stars to cold, everyone else ok, even Tri-colors (which I assume also dont build sleeping nests like the stars), so only a lonely cockbird at present. All were local birds too. Double bars tough as nails, keep on breeding!
Bring on the warmer weather I say, not just for the birds.

Arthur hasnt got to me as yet ( touch wood ) but I gotta say this winter has been a in ya bones cold one , first time in decades I have not had to be up at sparrows to go to work so have been able to sleep through the cold mornings.
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
