Cheaper in bulk Virkon -s $70 per kilo.And For the insane finchaholic $440 for 10 kg.Kilo at a time is enough for most.

Iaos has only used half a 50gm sachet in over 12 months so think that'll be plenty for my little bunch. Unless they all start having babies or I plan to bath in it, neither of which is likely. But for those with bigger numbers bulk buying sounds the way to go.

not much point in buying any more then you will use in twelve months.As it can attract moisture and go hard.

I have just ordered a 1kg container through eBay from the UK - works out at $53 including postage (assuming it arrives intact). Bit cheaper than what I could find in Oz

from memory the only one that came up in the international section anyways when I searched for Virkon S 1kg. They were prompt with email returning so if they are as quick with postage should arrive by early next week (waiting on paypal at this pt). Whoever imports virkon here must be making a bit of $$$.

Might be way off base here but will it come through customs without too much drama ? Just food for thought .

Its not a prescription item here - avail over the counter etc etc - not a drug and I dont think it is a question of counterfeit so no real reason for there to be a problem beyond maybe them asking 'what is it?'

If Alex gets a visit from some guys in Fed Cop outfits, he knows it's a problem. And the rest of us are warned.
