Thank you. Kindest Regards.
Hang on there Blujay a lot of us in including myself have been very appreciative of what Paul does every year, and there is 41 pages of posts to prove this point!

Not that I have to justify myself but with building a new house and 4 children under 6 my money is better spent elsewhere at the moment. It has been a service Paul has put up for Ones to except or not. If this is the last year so be it, at the end of the day we are all still friends.

So don't go stiring things up making something out of nothing!

Thanks for that mate but I will have to give this year a miss with the Green seed. Its fantastic stuff but I cant justify spending that sort of money on bird seed with a young family.
Maybe someone could start growing it down here and we can buy it for $117.00 an esky like the Qeenslanders do
Hi Nathan,

That sounds like a great idea....a Victorian growing our own green seed (so if you have any vacant land please put your hand up....I know there are a few of you out there)..... But don't hold your breath waiting....unfortunately too many fincho's in Victoria are great with their ideas and like to sit back and let someone else put in the work. They are also great at bitching about prices for birds and the food we supply our birds.

I would love us Victorians to pay the same as our Queensland finchos...if it wasn't for the 3 lots of freight and 2 lots of storage our seeds go through the costs would be much lower. So to get the seed from the Lowes farm to your freezer involves 5 freight/storage companies. Like you and I these people like to get paid for the work they do. Also the Queensland finchos go to the Lowes farm and pick up their own seed.....maybe one of the Finchos from Victoria can volunteer and go and pick up my seed for me next year!!!

So if someone else would like to take the hundreds of calls/PM regarding orders and organise the logistics of this years shipment feel free to PM me and I will gladly hand it across to you.

I started this process purely for the sake of ensuring my own birds have green seed each year. Maybe I would be better off growing my own seeds and not have the hassles associated with getting the shipment ordered and delivered each year.....so if you are thinking of ordering maybe it would be a good idea of doubling up your order this year as it may be my last!!!

I sincerely apologise you interpreted what I had to say, the way you have Broosky. It wasn't written to be taken that way, nor did it enclude what you had to say.
In reading GouldianPaul's post, I interpreted as his being overwhelmed, approaching burn out. I thought it would be nice to give him an atta boy, pat on the back. No other meaning in what I stated.
Sometimes, a thoughtful let you know is worth more than moving a product.
I have no qualms with folks saving money where they can, and in all honesty Broosky, another's finacial position doesn't enter my mind. Sorry, you interpreted it this way. I don't envy you, that's a lot of rug rats to have all at once. Enjoy them while they're small enough to crawl on your feet, cause when the get older they'll be stepping on your heart.
Hope you and yours had happy Aussie day. Kind Regards.
PS: It just sounded like he needed a warm fuzzy, and I sincerely hope it generated a smile, as that was my intent.

Hi Guys,

Nathan is a good bloke and I don't think that his post questioning the worth of the seed was a dig at me....but Nathan I think that your comments are based on your opinion based on your current circumstances. You don't need to justify why you can or can't buy the seed, but complaining about the price compared to Queenslanders leave you open to getting some negative feedback.

I try to keep the cost as low as possible, but there are plenty of people involved in the transportation process. I don't normally bang on about the logistics involved, so in return if people don't feel it is value for money then don't buy it....... but if you place a post questioning why it costs Victorians so much then expect me to stand up for myself.

Getting back to the 2015 shipment, there are 5 esky's remaining on the first pallet.

PS: Thanks for your kind words BlueJay

Cheers,
Paul

Hi All,

Just received an email from Wendy informing me that as they have had some good follow-up rain the harvest will be in 3-4 weeks.

Once she confirms the price I will organise the logistics and post the price per esky.

Please be in a position to make your payment by Sunday 8/2/2015.

At this stage I will close of the orders once the first pallet is completely ordered.

Cheers
Paul

Hi All,

There has been a late rush of orders so I am confident we have sufficient orders to enable the second pallet to go ahead.

Still some more esky's remaining on the second pallet if you are interested.

Cheers
Paul

Hi All,

Spoke to Wendy last night and they are expecting to harvest in 2+ weeks or so.

I have had to change the freight company from Brisbane to Melbourne as my original carrier no longer does this route, so the price has gone up by $1 per esky to $195/esky.

Can those who have ordered please send your money across to my bank account by the 14/2/15. As per usual please make sure you put your name (or AFF reference) in the description so I know who has paid. My banking details are the same as last year, but if you have lost my details please PM me.

Thanks again to those who have supported the green seed shipment in 2015.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to those of you who have paid for your green seed.

Could those who haven't yet made their payment do so ASAP so that I can send payment to the Lowe's and for freight.

Cheers
Paul

Hi All,

The seed was harvested today and is currently sitting in the Lowe's freezer.

At this stage I plan to have the seed at my place in Thornbury on Friday 6th March.

As I now need to pay for the seed immediately I need those who have not yet paid to ensure their money is in my account ASAP.

Cheers
Paul
