I'd happily collate it. Anyone who has photos of native finches in the wild and wants to contribute to the newsletter, PM me, please. I have a (very) few of my own to get started with.finchbreeder wrote:And I spy a double bar in that last pic. Di perhaps you could get a selection of "on location" native finch pics from various members into an article? That way 6 - 10 shots from those who have been travelling with locations, add together, = bird travellouge.

I too made it back safely from the Gouldian count.
My trip began in April in the town of Margaret River WA and after 17262 km I made it to Wyndham for my second count.
Saw Gouldians in the wild in several locations before making Wyndham.
Caught up with some forum members as well. Kununurra is really a bird Mekka for finch lovers and this town is not to be missed.
Managed 13.366 pics along the way and even caught a yellow headed G on film. They make up only 0.01 percent of the wild G population.
Now just a matter of getting the pic up on this forum. I will have a go later today or otherwise forward the pic onto Gomer.
Regards, Case, Tauranga, New Zealand.

It worked!
Confused as different forums I am on use different methods to place pics. In any case the pic is here so it's all good.
is this still the preferred size for pics or are we able to place pics 800 x 600?
