Jake, I'm sorry that you feel like that - our posts have been out of concern for you and the birds. Your comment "I see, I like, I get" pretty much sums up our concerns. No one here wants to discourage you, or put you down. Our goal has been to support you by getting you to slow down and enjoy gradually. I'm so glad you are now thinking that way and look forward to having you continue to ask the questions that help you achieve your goals.

Jake,(harvey123456789).
You must try and take advice from the more experienced bird breeders on this site.
Harvey11 and myself rely on this site and its members for help advice and guidance to be able to care for our birds.
It must be hard for you being around lots of birds at work and thinking you would love to have that in your avairy.
Harvey11 has started with Zebs,Canary,Goulds he now thinks he is an expert (lol) and tells me he wants to go to the next level of finches.
I said do some research, ask questions and get some opinions from members on this site, and he has.
Just take your time mate and enjoy your birds.
Bretto.

Hi Jake,
When people give advice it is often as a result of lessons learnt from their own mistakes. They just don't want you to make the same mistakes and suffer their heartache.
At the end of the day, you can choose to listen to that advice or ignore it. But when you ask for advice, you should also be prepared to listen to any criticism because that is all part of learning and also maturing as a person.
We all understand the "I see, I like, I get" attitude- it's to some extent a natural reaction when you're so enthusiastic. What we're saying is just be prepared to slow down a little, do your research and think the situation through before you act
We would all love you to hang around on this site as there is a huge amount of experience which can really help you in your birdkeeping, and help you get to where you want to go relatively quickly and successfully.
Good luck mate!

Jake,
Your original post asked "Who breeds softsbillls?' then it turned upside down. Don't feel "hated". We all have our little moments, but please have a sit down and read all the advice which has been given to you. Not one of the replies has been against you, only trying to give you advice. If you leave this forum and go to "some other forum" I can guarantee that the advice will be the same, if not harsher and they will not put up with the inane questions that you tend to ask. Mate, please stay, because you obviously have a love of the little birds. We all need each other through our experiences and observations. That's how we all learn. Who knows, maybe, in years to come when you see a question "Who breed softbills?" posted by a young person who wants to have everything "now" you can reflect and think "Was that what I was like?" Don't leave Jake. I don't want you to because you are our future, all the info you have been given from this forum will only make you a better "aviculturalist" not "pet owner".
