mate I have my hands full at the moment , like i need anymore birds to feed , I may have to buy the block next door to put a crop in to save money on seed..

Good luck Spanna, the chicks are awesome but remember they do lie still , they are soooo hard to see if they dont move.

These are 2 little guys that hatched this morning, wasn't expecting them for a couple of days so was a nice surprise on one of my days off!
There were 3 eggs in this clutch, one infertile. The previous clutch of 3 eggs from this pair were all infertile (2 eggs went to the WA museum actually!)
My other pair had 4 eggs, hatched 2, but one later succumbed to some cooler weather. The other chick is just over 3 weeks old now, and is spending a lot of time away from dad. I'm considering removing the young and replacing the hen so they can get at it again!!
