how long do you think they would survive for do you think Chris?I know there would be many variants.Would be interesting if you could do a test.Setting it up to deliver a required amount of worms.for a required amount of time.and maximun ambient temperature noted for each day.

you cant exactly get the same number of worms out each time but its nearly the same amout each drop.and hat do you mean by :how long do you think they will last: do you meen the lifetime of the feeder or the worms in the dispenser part.
and also by the: ambient temperature each day:
thanks chris

yeah Chris i meant the mealworms lasting in the feeder.and the daily temperature.like say if it was 20 degrees celcius during the day,how long would the amount of worms in the feeder live for?Like what would be the maximun amount of worms roughly you could put in for how long.Would be interesting to know.I would try a experiment myself ,but i am waiting on my mate from Melbourne to lend me his feeder, on his next trip here.

it also depends on how much bran you put in to i say at this time of year you could fill the whole thing with worms and would last 6-7 days depending on how many drops a day you do either 1-4 a day then in summer you would need a bit of bran in . in all it hold roughly 100grams of mealworms with out bran and also depends on the size of the worms. to keep them alive in summer you would just need to place it in a shady area of the avairy and they should survive.
thnaks chris

hehehhe but they do work great. i got the idea of Marcus Pollard from tassy he did a article in AvairyLife. so i think if its good enough for him to use it and has had a lot of succes with them why cant the rest of us use them and see if we have more succes with them hey.
