only if you already have a split ay it is possible to get another ay right ?

That I can say, as there are so many different opinions on the subject. I have been advised, there is good chance of getting AY, from pairing splits. Apparently, they came from "normals."

Sam, Finchman101 was intouch with me at the time.He was inundated with pm's, phone calls from eager beavers in NSW to the extent that his parents were driven insane.
The picture was freely available on google search,you didn't need to be a member of AFF to view it.As far as i know it died and the adult birds were sold.

What a pity. Do you know if the buyers of the parents went on to breed any more like this? I can understand his frustration with the unsolicited callers.
