Still making progress with this mutation. I particularly like this one - probably the most red of all bred to date

That is a pretty spectacular bird. All Painted mutations seem to only effect one area of feathering. e.g. the red turns yellow or the brown turns fawn. No effect on the black in any mutation. This I like as it retains the strong contrast.

Hi ringo, haven't heard from Gary for a while but i do know that they have been spread around the country now with quite a few breeders breeding them.
