I feel better knowing im only a drive away from sam. It does make sense wouldnt like to be picking them up from the airport.

Well there happy in there little aviary. Scared and hide in the nest box but there coming around. Very pretty tho.

Keep an eye on the hen for aggression. They are evil. I have had two hens kill cocks so far.

My sporadic trapping efforts have so far yielded a crimson rosella, a white-eye and several wood pigeons, all released unharmed to the delight of my children.
I will post pics of my sparrows as soon as I can catch the little blighters.

Have some Spotted Turtle Doves if anyones keen.

Crested wood pigeons. Common as mud around here.
The iPhone app calls it Crested Pigeon, Ocyphaps lophotes.
Perhaps another case of confusing local names...
