Have only just got back into finches, but for the last ten years or so I have been keeping and breeding Australian and New Guinea rainbow fish and cultivating Australian native plants (this helps with a planted aviary). Have only just convinced the other half to let me keep finches - I'm not sure she has realised what this may entail.
