What a great job. Makes a big difference to the pictures.
Gives you something to drink while you ponder the best way to proceed too!

Here are a few pictures sent to me by one of the few Self Bengalese breeders in Australia.
He has been breeding Bengalese since he was young and for the last 10 years has been selectively breeding his Chocolates for darker birds with heavier underbelly markings.
The results are quite nice.

Enjoy.

Loverly. I do like the selfs. Maybe they will have to be my 2012 project for the Bengos. And you can tell this is an Aussie forum. A beer carton photo box. Only in Australia.

I have just found an image of what is a good example of an ideal Australian Chocolate Self Bengalese (one on the left) that has good bib scolloping on the chest and particularly excellent underbelly markings.

Enjoy

Love the spangling. Chestnut cocks 3rd nest, all eggs clear. Time to rest and decide whose turn it is next. Hmm maybe try for some like this.

Here is an excellent picture of an Australian Self Chocolate with good underbelly markings from an ABBS member in Queensland .

Put my 2 best chocs with reasonable spangling in together. Eggs, then caught up by the leg and hanging. Nope not by the ring, a very fine fair hair caught round the other foot. Yep it was mine. Carefully freed the bird and dipped her beak in the water a couple of times as she was a bit dehydrated, then put her on the food dish for a feed. She took a couple of days for the wing that had been bashing on the edge of the hanging basket nest to recover but is fine again now. So hopefully will get back to it. (Mine don't look as good as the ones you have just pictured, but I'm going to work on that)
One of my young chestnuts is a cock, other not sure yet.

2nd young Chestnut was a cock and is now a Dad. 1st young Chestnut is in with a Dilute fawn hen, but this long hot muggy summer seems to be putting many of the birds off the lay. Great pics mate.
