Have recently discovered I have a hen of the above colouring up, and wondering what colours she would throw if I was to breed with her? She is a green back purple breasted possible split white breasted Black headed yellow tipped beak gouldian hen. Just wanted to type that so I could have the record for longest gouldian name ever

Have to run off to work now, later gang!

Have you tried one of the forecasters? can't remember if it gives you options for beak tip colour but i think it takes splits into account.

Ive found a few of my youngsters are BH YTB . If she has the yellow beak and is paired with a normal BH their young will be BH split YH

The link posted gives the option for the YTB, this can also be input on the Matos GGF and Ikhoms GGF

Hmm, good fun, thanks guys. Looks like my birds that were bought as normal yellow heads a while ago are in fact split for white breast and black head
Might try and find another couple of YTB headed goulds and breed some of them, and try and track down some "normal" YH as well!!

I have YH from YH to YH. Cocks family has not produced anything else. Hens are from Fincher. This cock put his own hen down 3 times, and in view of the 4 normal hens from the YB's hen apparently was also playing away from home. Brilliant coloured birds. So much so that I intend to keep some of the sons for my own YH line.
