This moggy has been terrorizing my suspended aviary for quite some time and after breaking the leg a young blue face when it landed on the bottom wire at night and a suspected death of a red fronted painted cock i thought that's it!

I went to the local hardware that had cat traps and as you can see it didn't take long.

So as soon as the animal shelter is open its going straight there where they can track the owners and get an explanation out of them as to why the cat was roaming at night.

you are more forgiving than some of us.
If it were me the cat would be doing an impression of fertilizer.

I would just about lay money on the answer if you fronted the owner without the cat.
It would be"it can't be our cat it doesn't leave our home".
I have no problem with house cats and responsible owners but sadly they are in the minority.
No I would use all its 9 lives,its not the cats fault, its their owners but sadly the cat gets it.

I'm not actually sure who owns the cat every time i've chased it away its gone down the street out of view and never seen it out elsewhere. That's why i got in touch with the council and they said best thing is to catch it and bring it in and if they can track down the owners they'll cop a fine for the cat being out after curfew

Looks too healthy to be a stray. But you never know. Some unpleasant types move home round this time of year and decide their pet is disposable so just leave behind.

Well done in catching him the humane way as said. Hopefully the shelters or council will be able to find his home or at least a more suitable new home!

This is why my kitties don't leave the house at all!

Be a bit carefull about trapping neighborhood cats, I was told by the authorities that if you do trap cats you must go door knocking asking neighbours if it belongs to them and it must be handed back to the owner!!!!!

It's unfortunately not the cats fault they are only following their instincts it's stupid cat owners who let their pets roam who are at fault
