friends all over Facebook are uploading photo's of cars with giant dints and smashed windscreens....its crazy here atm.....

No Hail here on the Border but just on 50mm rain since 6pm yesterday.
I have been watching 5 nests closely and and all seem to be fine.
This afternoon I was watching my birds when a big down pour hit, it was quite surprising how slowly some birds decided
it was too wet to be out in the rain
All lights are on right through the night so if we get any more Thunder they won't panic as much.
Also it is not cold, quite comfortable actually.

Misso, we copped the severe thunder and lightning last night for about 2hrs but no rain that started at about 10.30pm and then when i woke up at 2am lightning was still going on way down back, and then this afternoon blue skies above but in front looking towards the Dandenongs severe storms we have blue but partly cloudy skies with only a few sprinkles but have been able to see the lightning and hear the thunder. Hope all is ok with no damage.

We had heaps of thunder and lightning all night practically.
Lucky our birds don't live here!
Lots of heavy rain and thunder this afternoon too! Madness!
Nice change from stinking hot Perth Christmas
Hope all your birds are safe n sound.

i'm glad i didn't go out for tea last night, the dog couldn't handle all the thunder she pile vaulted the fence raced to the front dorr and proceeded to shred it (what's wrong with shredding the back door?)
