I was lucky enough to have 3 long tails fledge about nearly 3 weeks ago (first finches I have bred in about 30 years) When would it be a good time to remove them to a holding cage? So the parents can get on with producing some more.
cheers, Scott

I all ways leave my finches a minimum of 42 days from hatching but make sure they are eating and drinking plenty, when they are put into the nursery flights make sure there are plenty of feeding and drinking sites.

My records are clearly not as accurate as others! I just catch them up once their beaks begin to change colour.
